Inspiration: My Past

I've thought a lot about my architectural and interior design influences, and where they got their roots. I guess it started when I was just a wee lad, my mother used to manage a company called David James Design. Being so young I never really paid that much attention to all the opulent homes we used to go and "house-sit" or have to used to check up on when I'd tag along with her to work. Below are some pictures of the Sarofim house. I do however recall when we used to have to house sit there I'd always get creeped out by the expansive floor to ceiling glass panel walls at night, and not wanting to touch a single thing for fear of possibly breaking it or leaving my fingerprints.

I also wanted to pay homage to my hanai uncle David Lindal, he's since passed, and may he rest in peace.
